They're artists and craftsman and visionaries of the highest order…and gracious hosts. When I took a chance and dropped by, unannounced, at their New Orleans factory (sadly lost to Katrina but relocating to Birmingham) last March, they allowed me sit on both of their signature bikes (which, barring a lottery win, will probably be as close as I get to 'em.)
