The risd/works show opened Thursday with fantastic response. I've been told to bring in more paintings – It's "cash & carry optional" due to the influx of out-of-town visitors (J&W, RISD and Brown commencements) and there are already some blank spots on the walls.



New this time around are the simple matte black frames and larger studies (including the garlic press, below)

I couldn't be happier with the display – from the big bread image out front to the (kinda tough to tell from the photos) gallery itself, which was repainted with a soft tan (dare i say cappuccino) band to accent the little works.
