Seems like it's been ages in the making, but I've finally put my efforts into showing and am starting 2006 with work in 2 Providence group shows.

First up, New Year:New Members at the Providence Art Club.

2 works were on display, taken from the studies I've been making on field trips to Coggeshall Farm in Bristol, RI. Amazing turnout – thank you to all the friends and wellwishers!

Better yet, my first sale. Moon Shadow, the rooster drawing, was purchased by a fellow Club member and Providence gallery owner. I'm honored to say that it will hang in esteemed company when it goes home with him – he also owns work by Chris Van Allsburg.

2 photos were juried into 'Scenes of Rhode Island' at the Atrium Gallery on Capitol Hill.

"Point Judith" and "Sakonnet Point Light" were among 40ish works chosen out of several hundred by juror Ana Flores, but ultimately did not make the cut for the final 12 when the Guv'nor made his choices. Photo of the opening courtesy of me mum.
