Daily studies – poblano, onion

Been a bit since I’ve posted the daily studies – with the focus on getting the site updated in the last few weeks, time has been a bit spotty. Here’s two from the January vault, with more to come.

poblano pepper, 4×6″ sold

onion, 4×6″ available

I’m testing (borrowing, actually – thanks, scott) a new system for displaying the work – if you click on the thumbs, you’ll get a larger image in a new window.

Food Notecards for sale online.

I’ve taken 12 of my paintings and produced a line of notecards that have proven to be favorites through the holiday season. They’re part of Will Paint for Food, a collaboration with Lydia Walshin of Ninecooks, to support hunger relief through the sale of art.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of these note cards is donated to agencies working to end hunger through education, outreach, and food distribution. Read the story behind this project and purchase cards here.

‘Animal Imagery’ opening nite photos

This past summer, I was invited to participate in ‘Animal Imagery’ show at the Essex Art Center. I accepted, site and fellow artists (most of ‘em) unseen – and am pleased as punch that I did. Great space, great group of people, and a great opening. Plus, a writeup in The Boston Globe:

Photos from Friday’s opening below.
