More than 50 artists and artisans will be in the building for the event – All for free.

I’ll have original works, limited edition prints and a new series- small paintings for a good cause!
I’m proud to announce a collaboration where a portion of proceeds will go to organizations working to help end hunger in our community.

The works are from a series of small paintings – one a day, more or less – I started this past summer. Lydia Walshin, the collaborator in this endeavor, fellow foodie, and all-around good person, has the details at her site, Ninecooks.

Notecard sets and limited edition prints make their debut at the Pawtucket Artists Holiday Sale this weekend. (Originals available as well.)

Originals continue to be available at both the Providence Art Club and risd/works thru the end of December. Starting in 2007, we’re going to make them available online.

Old Friends.

Had a chance to see some old friends at the Delaware Art Museum when we were in town for the holiday- George Inness and Howard Pyle.

Fell in love with Innes while in college and never miss a chance to see his work – esp. the later works, esp. this painting. (what’s up with the lilac walls??)

Pyle’s Flying Dutchman (rt side of photo) is less well known than some of his other pirate works in the gallery, but to me it’s the man at his peak.
